SELECTIVE LASER SINTERING (SLS)

sls-img
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is an additive manufacturing process where parts are manufactured from polymer powder. The material is heated in the manufacturing chamber to a temperature close to the melting temperature and then a laser melts it by acting on specific areas to create the shape of the part. As soon as the layer is finished, the base of the chamber is moved downwards and the process is repeated until the desired part is obtained.

TOLERANCE OF MOVING PARTS

This technology makes it possible to create machine-assembled parts, as well as to manufacture parts inside each other.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum wall thickness 0,8 – 1 mm
Minimal detail to be reproduced 0.3 mm
Precisión 0.1% (min +/- 0,2)
Maximum part size 340 * 340 * 600 mm
Layer thickness 0.120 mm

CUSTOMISE YOUR PIECES

If you want to include personalised texts in your SLS pieces, we advise you to follow our recommendations.
If you want the text engraved inwards, the parameters must be higher in order to obtain the desired result.

SIZE

Maximum part size is 340x340x600 mm. However, it is still possible to produce larger parts. To do this, the workpiece is divided into parts which are then bonded together.
The final result guarantees the correct joining of the parts.
